Albert Peterson, b. Sweden 2-15-1826; d. Delton Township, Cottonwood County, MN., 8-24-1907; immigrated before November 1869 to U.S.A., having spent time in Norway and Denmark; following marriage rented land on what locally was known as the "J.A. Olds Place" on the east edge of the city of St. Charles in Section 20, St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., where first eight children were born; late 1880’s moved to the "Thiers Place" (renting again) three miles east of St. Charles in Section 22, St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., where ninth and last child was born; 1901 moved to a farm in Section 35, Delton Township, Cottonwood County, MN., where eldest son Henry Alfred had ventured in the late 1890’s; md. Winona, Winona County, MN., 11-12-1869, Johanna, d. of Anders Eriksson and Annika (Gunnarsdotter) Eriksson; she b. Grude Skattegård, Grude, Sweden, 3-15-1845; d. Mountain Lake, Cottonwood County, MN., 1-10-1949; immigrated to U.S.A. in the spring of 1868 with younger brothers August and Peter, stopping at Winona, Winona County, MN.; continued working on family farm in Section 35, Delton Township, Cottonwood County, MN., until last year of her life; died at age 103.

1) Henry Alfred Peterson, b. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 9-28-1870; d. Bowdon, Wells County, ND., 12-8-1904; md. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 3-16-1895, Sarah Augusta Erickson.

2) Charles Frederick Peterson, b. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 6-4-1872; d. Rochester, Olmsted County, MN., 8-31-1947; md. St. Charles, Winona County, MN., 12-26-1902, Lillie Belle, d. of William Small and Sophia (Talbot) Small.

3) William Peterson, b. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 5-14-1874; d. Hemet, Riverside County, CA., 5-18-1966; md. Jackson County, IA., Freda Tina Carlson.

4) Ida Josephine Peterson, b. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 7-11-1876; d. Rochester, Olmsted County, MN., 12-1-1967; md. Mountain Lake, Cottonwood County, MN., 6-25-1902, Charles William, s. of William Small and Sophia (Talbot)Small.

5) Hermon Peterson, b. St. Charles Township, Winona County, MN., 9-8-1878; d. Mountain Lake, Cottonwood County, MN., 5-22-1975.
